Think about something for a second...what about- MENTAL health - the way we think about and view things( not depression or other serious mental issues-we will leave those to the "Doctors" which I am not) or SOCIAL health - how we interact with our surroundings( again we are not discussing sociopathic behaviors those we again leave to the "Doctors") or SPIRITUAL health - is our belief system driving us. If we put all of these "HEALTHS" together don't they give a more complete picture of our health?
My next observation is how is HEALTH defined? What is health? In my experience I think the definition is pretty simple- health = life. In other words my life is my health, your life is your health. Now I am not putting a judgement on that. I am not saying my health or your health is good or bad or right or wrong, I am saying IT IS.
Another way to look at this point- take the word DIET- be calm its ok I am not going to go there- the word DIET people have been brought to think is a "way" to eat or not eat depending on their mindset. Actually all a "diet" is, is what you eat. In other words what you put into YOUR mouth is YOUR DIET. Again no judgement it just is.
Ok, chew on that for awhile...pun intended! Now here's the kicker- is your health ( or diet) the way YOU want them? There is a lot of information out there. Between books, magazines, and the internet we get bombarded with information we don't understand or better yet understand in a way that makes sense for us as individuals.
This blog is designed to help clarify that information in a way that makes sense and can be utilized in an effective and responsible way.
You are asking how? You're asking can I change my health? ABSOLUTELY! And it can be done effectively, safely, responsibly and without guilt ,blame or judgement.
There is no magic elixir or overnight wonder pill- there is you- and remember...
YOU ARE THE DIFFERENCE!
